Grey, white and blush living room

I suppose this post is really the final reveal of the living room refurb, which started way  back in February with the fireplace overhaul. I did do a reveal here, but the room wasn’t fully accessorised and didn’t look ‘complete’. It just goes to show that you need to live in a space for a while before you know what really works.

So today will be a very visual post with mainly photos to show the living room and office.

This is the look through into the office – I will show a before and after shot so you can see how it has changed! It looks much more homely now. Screen Shot 2017-10-09 at 11.04.40.png

This is the grey leather sofa with picture shelves above. My next little project is to reorganise these shelves when I find some prints I like! It looks much better now though!

This is the view from the office into the living room – I apologise for the dog in the window, I’ve only just spotted her!

Just a little close up of my mantelpiece decor at the minute. I love how the brass ‘hello’ looks against the grey of the fireplace.

The chairs I waited and waited for eventually arrived from wayfarer, and were MINT GREEN! So they had to be returned and then I had to start the search again and eventually settled on these Tansy armchairs from Wayfair. I originally had the little hexagonal shelves in the living room, but I think they work better here.

I love this faux eucalyptus from Ikea, I can see I will end up with one in every room!

I still love my workspace and these Westelm office chairs and I’ve also recently added this Fliqlo screen saver.

So I hope you agree, things have improved since February! I’m hoping to show you the kitchen in all it’s glory within the next couple of weeks, so watch this space!
