Easter decorations

I’m so disappointed that I can’t decorate my living room for Easter this year. I love all the pretty pastel colours and cute bunnies around at this time of year and was so looking forward to adding some colour to our living room, but I think you’ll agree, now is not quite the time for Easter decorations, as our living room looks like this:

So instead I thought I would share some ideas I had in mind before hubby started ripping up the living room!

I love the idea of an Easter tree, like this one at Hobbycraft

There’s a tutorial on how to make all the eggs as well! Now I’m not particularly crafty, but my mum is always on the lookout for things to keep her busy so would love to do this! I meant set her away and keep them for next year!

This is the cutest Easter decoration I have ever seen and adds a touch of fun!Screen Shot 2017-03-16 at 09.13.30.png

You can find out how to make it at Trendy Tree.

This is a very simple, but effective arrangement which takes only ten minutes! You can see it over at Stone Gable.

I don’t think I will be setting the table for Easter, you can see why here!!

Adventures in Decorating show you step by step tips for decorating a mantel for Easter, agin in pretty pastels.

For now I will have to stick to my Easter tiered tray in the kitchen, which you can see here. Roll on next Easter and maybe our renovations will be finished!
